The Tactical K9 Handle by Xtreme Pet Products is a version of our Security Leash Handle available now for law enforcement and pet owners. It was modified and tested by a tactical operator to primarily assist police K9 handlers when they deploy in a tactical operation using a long line during a search or track. The dual-purpose handle can serve as an “anchor” by attaching it to the end of our Tactical Lead Extensions or a standard long line to better secure and control the line as the dog deploys. It can also be used separately as a traffic lead. With a 1 inch Spring Snap hardware, the Tactical K9 Handle is 17 inches long. It is available exclusively in camouflage, black, and black reflective.

During tactical operations for a search or track the extensions allow police K9 handlers an ability to determine the appropriate amount of long-line needed to deploy the dog in 20-foot increments.
